Role Overview This is a senior technical leadership opportunity within a fully remote engineering environment focused on building secure, scalable enterprise software. The role centers on Python backend engineering, with opportunities to contribute to Java services and modern full-stack capabilities. What You Will Do Design and develop scalable, secure, highly available backend services, primarily using Python, while contributing to Java-based services. Drive architectural decisions, technical strategies, engineering standards, and long-term platform improvements across teams. Requirements Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline 8+ years of professional software engineering experience Strong expertise in Python backend development Good working knowledge of Java Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architectures, REST APIs, and modern software architecture principles Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, Linux, observability, production troubleshooting, and application security Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, messaging systems, caching technologies, and asynchronous processing Proven ability to design scalable, resilient, secure, and highly available enterprise-grade systems Experience using AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar technologies to improve engineering productivity while maintaining strong quality and security standards Experience with React, TypeScript, GraphQL, or enterprise SaaS platforms is a plus Exposure to AI/LLM-powered applications, developer productivity platforms, or open-source projects is desirable Strong architectural thinking and the ability to balance long-term technical strategy with pragmatic execution Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring, ownership, and cross-functional collaboration skills Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence technical decisions through expertise and clear reasoning Curiosity, adaptability, and enthusiasm for emerging technologies and AI-enabled engineering practices Benefits Competitive salary Company equity, depending on role and level Medical insurance and healthcare coverage for employees and their families Fully paid life insurance premiums Flexible working hours and paid time off Mental wellness platform subscription Gym reimbursement Childcare reimbursement Group term life insurance Fully remote work environment in India Opportunity to work on large-scale, secure enterprise software and distributed cloud systems Strong focus on technical growth, engineering excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning
