What You Will Do Work across the stack from code commit to running it in production for our Platform, design, develop, and test backend services and APIs, build reliable event-driven integrations, integrate and operate LLM providers securely, write high-quality code, independently own and drive new features, own releases across environments, debug and resolve issues in Kubernetes-based services, work in an Agile environment, and facilitate agile practices. Requirements Strong experience with Python on the backend (FastAPI or similar, async programming) Strong knowledge of creating scalable REST APIs and clear API contracts Working experience with MongoDB; Redis and relational databases are a plus Experience with message queues and background workers (Kafka, Celery, RabbitMQ or similar), including retries, idempotency, and backfills Practices TDD and has experience writing API and end-to-end test automation Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming and/or Functional Programming concepts Understanding of containerization (Docker) and hands-on debugging with Kubernetes Basic knowledge of cloud IAM and networking on GCP or AWS Experience with setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GoCD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar) Experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Vertex AI/Gemini, Anthropic) is preferred Experience with NodeJS/TypeScript and ReactJS is preferred Some experience with alternative protocols like gRPC or GraphQL is preferred Familiarity with observability (OpenTelemetry, logs, traces) and security tooling (Snyk, secret scanning) is preferred Experience practicing Agile software development methods is preferred Benefits Interesting work Tribe vibe Bragging rights One team one dream
