Role Overview As a Software Engineer, you will be part of our global people technology team, building scalable, future-ready solutions that help support Maersk’s people strategy. You will work across modules including Recruitment, Compensation, Benefits, and drive AI and automation initiatives to streamline HR processes, improve employee experiences, and enhance decision-making. What You Will Do Build and enhance applications across frontend and backend technologies, develop AI-driven automation solutions, configure and enhance Workday Recruitment, Compensation, and Benefits modules, and contribute to team capability growth through peer reviews and knowledge sharing. Requirements 4 – 6 years experience in building and supporting applications on .NET stack Hands on experience on frontend frameworks: Vue Hands-on experience in developing scalable and robust RESTful APIs Strong experience with Microsoft Azure Strong DevOps experience, including CI/CD pipelines (GitHub), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and containerized deployment using Docker Any database knowledge: NoSQL, MongoDB Good understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI/ML concepts Experience with Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices Good understanding of UX & UI principles Experience with Workday, with expertise in one or more of the following modules: Core HCM, Recruitment, Compensation, or Benefits Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences Benefits Life-enhancing prosperity for people and communities through exciting initiatives Unique opportunity to join a global People Technology team Chance to work on a global scale and drive innovation in HR technology Diverse and inclusive workplace Embracing different styles of thinking
