Full Job Description

Role Overview As a Senior Software Security Engineer on the Trust and Safety team, you will engineer security improvements to the GitLab product, build and maintain tools to detect and prevent abuse, and collaborate with peer engineering teams to deliver safety improvements. The team relies on automations, LLM aided anomaly detections, and user behavior analysis to proactively detect and prevent abuse on the GitLab platform. What You Will Do Maintain core abuse prevention systems, build new abuse detection rules, improve and expand agentic AI capabilities, lead collaboration with peer engineering teams, resolve automation gaps, create efficient automated processes, and create and maintain documentation.
