Role Overview This position performs moderately difficult research, design, and software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line. The position should have the ability to work on individual pieces of work and solve problems including the design of the program flow of individual pieces of code, effective coding, and unit testing. The role is part of a collaborative and supportive environment where team members contribute their unique perspectives and deliver outcomes together. What You Will Do Collaborate with technical personnel and team members to finalize software requirements and understand product requirements. Develop and review detailed specifications and translate moderately complex requirements into effective software designs. Implement software development processes, coding best practices, and participate in code reviews. Why It Might Be a Fit We are looking for a candidate with 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, strong Java experience, and hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Microservices, Hibernate, JPA, and Cosmos DB. The ideal candidate will have experience with performance optimization and troubleshooting, as well as experience with Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments such as Azure. Requirements 5+ years of Software Engineering experience BS in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience Strong Java experience; Java 8 required, with Java 11/21 experience preferred Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Microservices, Hibernate, JPA, and Cosmos DB Experience with performance optimization and troubleshooting Experience with Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, CI/CD (GitHub Actions preferred), and Azure cloud environments Familiarity with Kafka/EventHub and strong understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems Java migration experience (8 → 11/21), Databricks, and Python are good to have Benefits Country specific benefits Fair and accessible hiring process Disability accommodations
