Role Overview The Senior Software Engineer will be a core contributor on the Emergency Preparedness & Response (EP&R) team, building systems that keep critical operations running during emergency events. The team works on building systems that enable customers to rapidly procure, mobilize, and manage the workforce needed to respond to and recover from storm damage. The successful candidate will be a backend-heavy full-stack engineer who learns our systems inside and out, reasons rigorously about trade-offs, and consistently raises the quality of what we build. What You Will Do Design, build, review, and debug across the stack, owning features and services end to end. Work backward from customer pain points and business goals to make sure you're solving the right problem before writing code. Build systems that are highly available, resilient, and easy to operate during peak-demand emergency events.
