Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead technical improvements across multiple modules and teams on a portal built for label and flexible packaging converters. The role emphasizes team-level impact, technical leadership, production-risk judgment, and incremental modernization of large legacy systems. What You Will Do You will own complex projects and major features, establishing standards, guiding architecture decisions, and improving how the entire team delivers safely and efficiently. You will mentor developers, lead incident response, establish database governance and testing standards, and guide architectural choices. Requirements Experience building or leading large production systems serving millions of transactions or thousands of concurrent users. Deep familiarity with at least one complex enterprise system (ERP, financial platform, or high-volume transaction processing). Production incident response experience; familiarity with post-mortems and blameless investigation. Experience designing systems for multi-tenant or multi-customer deployments with schema and configuration variation. Leadership of database migrations on large production tables; understanding of zero-downtime deployment strategies. Mentoring multiple junior and mid-level engineers; demonstrated impact on their growth and career progression. Experience setting or improving engineering practices: code review, testing, deployment, incident response. Speaking, writing, or community contributions demonstrating communication of technical concepts.
