Role Overview The Manager, Technical Consulting – DevOps is responsible for leading and growing a high-performing DevOps consulting practice while delivering architectural leadership on strategic Salesforce engagements. This role combines people leadership, practice development, customer advisory, and technical consulting. The Manager is responsible for hiring, mentoring, coaching, and developing DevOps consultants and architects, driving engineering excellence, establishing practice standards, and enabling AI-first software delivery. What You Will Do Deliver DevOps architecture and consulting on customer engagements, define and drive technical standards for DevOps, Platform Engineering, CI/CD, DevSecOps, AI-assisted engineering, and release governance across the practice, establish reusable assets, accelerators, reference architectures, engineering playbooks, and Centers of Excellence. Requirements 12–15 years of overall IT experience, including 8+ years in Salesforce DevOps, Platform Engineering, Release Management, or CI/CD. 5+ years leading technical consulting or DevOps engineering teams. Proven experience building, mentoring, and scaling enterprise DevOps consulting teams. Strong Salesforce DevOps expertise including Salesforce DX, Metadata API, Salesforce CLI, source-driven development, release management, and deployment automation. Experience with Copado, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Azure Repos. Strong understanding of Platform Engineering, GitOps, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code, Docker, Kubernetes, automated testing, security integration, and observability. Experience integrating AI-powered engineering tools such as Claude, Gemini, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or equivalent into engineering workflows. Strong consulting, customer engagement, and executive communication skills. Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise Salesforce pre-sales and strategic solutioning. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
