Role Overview Evolent Health is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to contribute to building scalable, secure, and high-performance healthcare applications. The role requires strong technical expertise and leadership skills to lead design and development efforts, mentor team members, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders. What You Will Do Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using ASP.NET MVC, Web forms, .NET Core, C#, and SQL Server. Lead end-to-end software development lifecycle, architect scalable and secure solutions, and provide technical leadership to the team. Why It Might Be a Fit The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in software development, strong hands-on experience with ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, and Azure resources, and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software engineering best practices. Requirements 6–8 years of experience in software development Strong hands-on experience with ASP.NET / .NET Core, C#, SQL Server, and Azure resources Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design patterns & Principles (SOLID, etc.), and Software engineering best practices Experience in building scalable web applications and APIs Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment Experience with code reviews, CI/CD, and version control systems (Git) Benefits High-speed broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 Mbps Ability to set up a wired connection to their home network for effective remote work
