Role Overview ConvaTec is building a data function and data governance is central to that build. This is a critical delivery role within it. This role will contribute to making Convatec’s data findable, traceable and trustworthy. The Data Governance Analyst will support core elements of our data governance capability – the business glossary and data catalogue in Microsoft Purview, data lineage and a data quality framework that moves us from finding problems in reports to preventing them at source. What You Will Do The Data Governance Analyst will build, populate and maintain the enterprise business glossary and data catalogue in Microsoft Purview, administer the tooling to prevent catalogue decay, engage data owners, stewards and subject matter experts to agree and publish common definitions for critical data elements, capture and maintain end-to-end lineage for critical data elements, establish change impact analysis, and work with business data owners and governance sponsors to translate business risk into testable data quality rules.
