Role Overview As a Data Engineer, you will build and maintain ingestion and transformation pipelines across diverse sources, and work inside a Monks delivery team, alongside clients, engineers, and product, owning the pipelines the rest of the product is built on. You'll work with tools like Claude Code and Codex, and be expected to be genuinely fluent working alongside AI coding agents and excited to push those practices further. What You Will Do Build and maintain ingestion and transformation pipelines across diverse sources, build automated validation and integrity checks, model and move data, monitor pipeline health, and review code for quality and consistency. Why It Might Be a Fit You will be expected to be rigorous about correctness, ownership-minded, a pragmatic problem-solver, and a clear communicator. You will also be expected to have strong SQL and data modeling skills, and experience designing data validation and quality checks at scale.
