Role Overview As a Custom Software Engineer, you will design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications using modern frameworks and agile practices. You will work closely with AI/ML engineers, software developers, system engineers, and testing teams to develop reliable, high-performance solutions for real-world applications. What You Will Do Design, develop, and optimize computer vision algorithms using C/C++. Develop solutions for image processing, object detection, tracking, classification, and segmentation. Implement and optimize vision algorithms for real-time applications. Why It Might Be a Fit You will analyze requirements and translate them into technical and software solutions. You will integrate computer vision algorithms with existing software platforms and APIs. You will participate in code reviews and maintain technical documentation. Requirements 3+ years of experience in C/C++ and Computer Vision development Strong programming skills in modern C/C++ (C++11/14/17) Hands-on experience with OpenCV and image processing techniques Good understanding of computer vision fundamentals, including image filtering, feature extraction, transformations, calibration, and geometric vision Experience with object detection, object tracking, segmentation, and classification Knowledge of deep learning-based computer vision using frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow is preferred Experience with CUDA/GPU acceleration and performance optimization is an advantage Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, multithreading, and memory management Experience with Linux, Git, CMake, and debugging/profiling tools Experience developing real-time or embedded vision applications is preferred Knowledge of automotive ADAS, camera systems, image sensors, or autonomous driving is an added advantage Exposure to CI/CD, unit testing, static analysis, and software quality practices Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Good understanding of software engineering and computer vision principles Strong debugging and performance-optimization capabilities Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical tasks Strong focus on code quality, performance, and reliability Benefits Competitive salary Equity Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Learning budget Parental leave Wellness program Visa/relocation assistance Remote flexibility Stipends Bonus/commission Paid holidays
