Full Job Description
Role Overview The Associate Manager - Design will be the creative engine behind Athena's visual identity, owning end-to-end design across print, digital, and motion. You will work closely with the communications, research, and business development teams to ensure every output is compelling, on-brand, and built for the audiences that matter most to us. What You Will Do Lead visual design across all organisational outputs: publications, reports, presentations, infographics, digital assets, social media, and branded collateral. Design and maintain responsive websites and landing pages, ensuring strong UX/UI and conversion-focused user journeys. Requirements Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro) Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, composition, visual storytelling, and branding Expertise in designing for digital-first brands Proficiency in Figma and modern design systems Experience designing responsive websites and landing pages Understanding of user-centred design principles and conversion-focused design Strong experience in video editing, motion graphics, and animation Ability to create short-form and long-form video content for digital channels Hands-on experience with AI-powered creative tools, including ChatGPT, Claude Design, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Runway, Kling, Veo, Canva AI, Figma AI, Gamma, Sora (preferred), and other emerging AI design, video, and content-generation tools Benefits Flexible hours High level of autonomy Professional development and thought leadership On-the-job training Support for cultivating personal brands through participation in panels, events, publications, and other thought-leadership opportunities
