Role Overview The primary responsibility for this role is to execute Building Management System global projects, detailed engineering as per country-specific standards. The role involves programming DDC & supervisory controllers, replicating sequence into control logic for controllers, and understanding graphics requirements. The engineer will be responsible for independent execution of tasks throughout the project lifecycle, handling first-level escalation, and ensuring customer satisfaction. What You Will Do The engineer will review MEP drawings, identify HAVC equipment, and dampers. They will also review control specifications and sequence of operations, generate initial review sheets and RFI's, and create a Bill of material. Additionally, the engineer will select control devices, prepare controller wiring, terminations, and interlock wiring, and prepare test plans, perform simulations, and troubleshoot errors. The candidate should be proficient in wiring of starters, field devices, safety interlocks, and panels, and have experience in remote engineering, installation, and commissioning of HVAC & BMS systems. Requirements BE/ME (Instrumentation / Electrical/ Electronics / Electronics & Communication) Strong knowledge of BMS architecture, Supervisory Controllers, DDC controllers, Sensors & Actuators etc. Experience in software programming and commissioning of Niagara controllers Strong knowledge of Niagara Analytics Experience in Industrial Automation field (PLC programming/SCADA) will be an added advantage Knowledge of HVAC systems like Chilled Water System, Cooling Towers, Primary & Secondary pumping systems, Hot Water System, types of AHUs, FCUs, VAV systems etc. Knowledge of different types of network protocols like BACNet, LON, Modbus, OPC, and other protocols.
